Certification applications and documentation may be submitted via
facsimile, transmitted electronically or mailed to the appropriate UPPCC
address listed on the payment page of the application. |

It is advisable that applicant's make a copy of all items (application,
documentation, payment, etc.) submitted for the applicant's personal records
and reference if there is any problem with the application. |

College transcripts required of an applicant MUST be included with the application package. Transcripts must remain sealed by the institution of higher learning to ensure the
authenticity of the transcript. |

The verifying documentation and applicable fees must accompany all
applications. Processing will be delayed for all applications submitted without
payment or documentation. Transcripts submitted by an international
organization or institution of higher learning must be in English. |

Once the Certification Council deems candidates eligible, they can
then request the date and location of their testing site. They cannot, however,
take the examination without first being deemed eligible. |
•
|
Application and fees are
valid for a period of two (2) years. This will allow successful candidates
sufficient time to pass the examination. All examinations must be completed
during this two (2) year period to avoid having to re-apply and incurring
additional application fees. |

In the event that the application is not approved, the application
will remain on file for a two (2) year period. This will allow the applicant
sufficient time to gain the appropriate experience and/or education and
re-submit without incurring any additional application costs. |

Application
fees include application and administrative costs as well as
the initial examination fee. If the candidate is not successful with the
initial examination, there is a separate re-examination fee that is required
for subsequent examinations. |
