The UPPCC hopes that you will continue your commitment to excellence after becoming recertified. Below are a few volunteer opportunities available to you as a certified individual, each of which will earn you points towards recertification under Category A: Professional Contributions.

UPPCC Item/Question Writer
Think back to when you took your certification examination. Did you wonder where those exam questions came from? Who wrote them? How were they written? Examination questions for both the Certified Public Purchasing Officer (CPPO) and Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB) are written by your peers. Public purchasing professionals like yourself write and review all UPPCC examination questions. If you're interested in giving back to the certification you worked so hard to achieve, volunteer your time as an Item/Question Writer.
Writing Opportunities
All currently certified individuals are contacted via email or letter prior to each face-to-face Item/Question Writing session to solicit participation. Session details vary, but CPPB's and CPPO's who participate earn 2 full points under Catergory A: Professional Contributions towards UPPCC Recertification.
