UPPCC Announces New Schedule of Fees for Certification

Herndon, VA – April 4, 2017 - The Universal Public Procurement Certification Council (UPPCC) announced today that it will apply a modest $50 increase to many of its current fees for certification effective July 1. The fee increase, UPPCC’s first increase in five years, is necessary for the organization to support rising development costs and to fund many new projects and initiatives designed to both expand the programs and to provide additional tools, resources and overall value to current certificants.   UPPCC hopes to share details soon on some exciting new functionality that will streamline the application and recertification experience by providing a fully modern, online portal for your interactions with UPPCC going forward.

The UPPCC is currently accepting applications for the October 16-28, 2017 testing period through July 17, 2017 (July 31, 2017 with late fee). Applications for initial certification or recertification may be submitted at any time prior to July 1 to take advantage of the current rates for certification. 

The Universal Public Procurement Certification Council (UPPCC) is an independent entity formed to govern and administer the Certified Public Procurement Officer (CPPO) and Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB) certification programs. The CPPO and CPPB programs are highly regarded and respected among procurement professionals and employers involved in the public sector. To date, the UPPCC has certified well over 10,000 professionals primarily within the US and Canada as well as in other nations around the globe.
