August 10, 2005 - The Universal Public Purchasing Certification Council (UPPCC) recently announced its 2005 Fully Certified Agency Award winners. The presentation was made in conjunction with the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP) 60-th Annual Forum and Products Exposition in Anaheim, California. Twenty-five agencies achieved the distinguished and unique honor of being fully certified.
Based on the UPPCC eligibility requirements, the Council recognizes those organizations that have met the specific criteria based on job responsibilities within the procurement function with additional requirements for eligibility based on education and public sector experience.
