UPPCC Announces 2004 Fully Certified Agencies
August 18, 2004 - The Universal Public Purchasing Certification Council (UPPCC) announced its 2004 Fully Certified Agency Award winners. The presentation was made in conjunction with the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP) 59th Annual Forum and Products Exposition in Biloxi, Mississippi. Twenty-four agencies achieved the distinguished and unique honor of being fully certified. Twenty-Four Agencies were recognized in 2004, a significant increase over the previous year.
Based on the UPPCC eligibility requirements, the Council recognizes those organizations that have met the specific criteria based on job responsibilities within the procurement function with additional requirements for eligibility based on education and public sector experience.
