Use this area as a resource for learning of quality educational products available within the field of public procurement; certification preparation and continuing education.
UPPCC recognizes both NIGP and NASPO as providers of quality education products for the public procurement professional. Textbooks developed by both organizations are included in the listing of authoritative literature that supports the UPPCC Body of Knowledge for both CPPO and CPPB certification exams.
NIGP: The Institute for Public Procurement
NIGP also offers intensive 2-day and 3-day courses based upon the specific NIGP textbooks that are included in the UPPCC listing of authoritative literature for CPPO and CPPB certification exams. These courses often include the actual textbook as part of the course. Although NIGP coursework is not required to achieve certification, it is one opportunity to review and/or reinforce a candidates' individual understanding of the UPPCC Body of Knowledge (BOK).
NIGP also offers CPPO and CPPB preparatory courses both in face-to-face format as well as online. For more information on NIGP courses and products offered by NIGP including upcoming dates and locations, access the link below to be redirected to the NIGP Website.

Other Educational Providers
In addition to NIGP and NASPO, the UPPCC also recognizes the following industry organizations as suppliers of quality procurement education. It is important to utilize the UPPCC Body of Knowledge (BOK) as the basis for formulating any test preparation plan. Since the BOK dictates the content that will be tested on the certification exams, the candidate should choose educational products that work to reinforce a topic found in the BOK. As the exam questions are kept secured at all times and are not shared with any organization, private entity or individual, use caution when selecting programs that claim to address actual CPPO and/or CPPB test questions.
